Modernization of Ladle and Tundish heating infrastructure
Salzgitter AG relies on technology from Clyde Bergemann Brinkmann

Salzgitter AG started in 2010 with the optimization of the Peiner steel mill. Clyde Bergemann Brinkmann GmbH was selected for the delivery of a more efficient and economical ladle treatment plant. The decisive factor was the supply and installation of the system within a short period of time. Clyde Bergemann Brinkmann has complied with these requirements for all nine Ladle heaters and Tundish heating systems.
One of the implemented technical features is the co-combustion of the released gases from bonded burner stones. This will reduce emissions significantly.
Clyde Bergemann Brinkmann is a very well established company for firing solutions. Since 2009, the formerly known company, Walter Brinkmann GmbH, is now part of the Clyde Bergemann Power Group.
