Clyde Bergemann Power Group acquires Endat Oy in Finland Wesel, May 2007 Endat Oy is a software and consulting company specialized in process optimisation, developing and licensing modular condition monitoring software tools for processes in conventional steam plants, pulp mills and nuclear power plants. The company was founded in 1985 as spin-off of the Laboratory of Energy Engineering and Environmental Protection at the Helsinki University of Technology, Finland. It is based in the technology centre Innopoli next to the university campus and run by a small team. The Managing Director Prof. Carl-Johan Fogelholm will continue his engagement with the Group. Endat Oy will remain a corporate entity being a 100% subsidiary held by Clyde Bergemann in Wesel, Germany. Group wide activities will be coordinated by Dr. Christian Mueller, Head of Technology and Products at the German headquarters in Wesel. This acquisition extends the Group’s technology based boiler cleaning concepts where the company already gained a leading position with their Smart Clean ISB platform. It strengthens the entire technology product portfolio and represents a clear competitive advantage to build up independence from external suppliers for balancing software. |
